Two fluted jugs

It was very tiring as usual pushing my walker on uneven sloping badly maintained pavements. All my joints hurt...

Did a bit of food shopping. Did a bit of household shopping. I had compared some prices on Amazon and I went to my Emporium shop to see if they were any cheaper there but just as good quality....

Anyway, I had a successful shop at the place I call the Emporium.

I had intended on getting a second stainless steel kettle, because we often get short water cut offs. My intention had been to to get the second kettle so that I could boil water in second kettle and leave that on the side for the day, so there is always fresh boiled water, to add ice to, or for whatever I wanted. And then the first kettle, would be used for hot drinks etc during the day.

Then, in the Emporium, I saw loads of plastic jars, which I could've kept water in, but plastic is a no-no for me, to store water in for the day. But at the back of the shelf I found some thick glass fluted jugs. With a lid on. Some of them had some plastic in the middle, which was to hold fruit and stuff, in the water. But that is plastic in the water again... I picked two of the jugs which was completely glass inside. And there was a third one which I hid right at the back of the shelf should I decide to come back and get another one...


Creative is a drawing I did in the Sketch Club App of the two fluted jugs. Water that has been boiled and cooled tastes much softer, than lukewarm water straight from the tap.

I used to always boil water before I or my family drank it...
No idea why I did that... but over time somehow I forgot to do this anymore
