Have you got the what3words app?

We came across a developing fire in woodland when out for a walk this morning. There is a fire risk warning in Scotland just now. We phoned the emergency services. I knew the location quite well and we gave them fairly good access information. The fire brigade call handler asked if we had the what3words location app. We uploaded it and gave him more specific information. We left after the firefighters arrived. We noted they were still working from the access road a couple of hours later.

This evening was my wife’s choir’s Spring Concert, (extra photo). There was a medical emergency towards the end of the first half; this time it was the ambulance service that came  to the rescue. A fixed venue - no need for what3words! The person was released from hospital later.
