2025 Thursday — Getting Acquainted

This beautiful piano arrived yesterday. Today I sat on the bench and did finger exercises and just played around for more than an hour in several sittings.

When I was a kid I learned to played accordion. My stepdad was an accordion player and an accordion teacher. So I have retained a tiny bit of knowledge about music, and I know I have a lot to learn and many hours of practice in front of me.

I’m delighted and excited.
