Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

May

A May landscape in Gill Beck Valley: first mow of the pasture for silage; this year’s bracken shooting up through last year’s crunchy layer; hawthorn in blossom; cow parsley starting to soften the field wall boundaries; trees still in their fresh green new growth.

The sun didn’t break through today, so it felt a bit cooler and I didn’t see any butterflies about.
