The thru-let

In Portencross, near West Kilbride in Ayrshire there is a narrow passegeway between two stacks of rocks called the thru-let.  (Spelling optional.) Like all good gateways, you then emerge iinto  a different world, in my case, my favourirte canal. So I thought it would be a good name for this short passageway.
