Empty pots
... in need of filling.
It is so frustrating to always have to ask for help these days...but lifting heavy ceramic and terra cotta pots requires stronger arms and back than mine!
Luckily I have Ian on the corner who, despite a full time job, a part time lawn-mowing business, a garden of his own, and a new deck he is building, is willing to lend a hand when needed. He dragged everything out of my storage shed, hooked up the hose system, carried the heavy pots to their designated spot along with the big bags of potting soil so that they are ready for planting. He also picked up all the unwanted items I had collected over the year and took them off to the dump! Whew! Spring garden preparation can be SO exhausting...
Tonight was the 5th game in round 2 of the Toronto vs Florida Stanley Cup Playoffs and if I thought garden work was exhausting, watching a game where your favourite team falls apart is worse! Yikes! Toronto lost 6-1...and that lone goal waited until the last minutes of the game to be scored! I am not sure I will have the strength and stamina to watch game 6!
