Cow Parsley

The cow parsley has really taken off along the verges and pathways and the hogweed is catching up now! Lots of white flowers…

The sun was shining this morning … it had remained hidden most of yesterday…but the bitter northerly wind made it feel pretty cold again.

This umbel was leaning towards the sun which created a nice backlight around the flowers.

As I was kneeling down to take the photo I was mobbed by a very friendly Airedale terrier..who I don’t recall seeing before…he was very interested in what I was doing and stayed around for ages for a fuss…before zooming back to his owner!!
