Setting Sun

A camera club evening, at Watermouth Cove. A beautiful evening, and I joined three of our ladies who had already walked to the ruined tower on one cliff corner to the cove. We had left Sue sitting on a bench on the harbour wall. This image was taken about an hour before the sun disappeared over the horizon.

I looked into the ruined round tower, but there were no signs of any birds nesting. Quite a few years ago there were swallows in one of the cavities. on the back to the harbour we spotted two guys fishing round the corner of the tower.

We wandered back to the harbour, to catch up with Sue, who had been chatting to people who had been out on the water, or who had just come down to see the sunset.  After which we popped into a local pub for a coffee, before heading home. The end of a super day, as earlier Sue and I had spent lunch and the afternoon with two very good friends.
