Who's a pretty boy!

Back in the Chilterns, which look so beautiful on a gorgeous May Day!

Our silver pheasant went lame a few weeks ago and made a valiant effort to stay king of the roost.  However, while we were away he has been deposed by this dark pheasant, who is suspicious of us, but I have no doubt will be very tame very soon.
