What a scorcher.

Mrs FP had heard of a coffee bothy and gelato shacks at the Winchburgh Marina. A canal walk was planned. We parked the car at Philipston and set off. Everything was very lush, canal teeming with fish and lots of little ducklings. Not a cloud in the sky. Mile after mile. It was a lot further than we thought. Eventually found the place and coffee and ice cream enjoyed.

The walk back was more of a struggle, the dog was knackered and feeling the heat but we made it. New record on my step counter! Eight and a half miles.
