Tourists, eh :-)

We drove to Bourton this afternoon, in our very clean Kia. I had a library book to return. As you can imagine it was very busy by the river. Good to see all the lawns are open now and looking good.

Tourist: Excuse me, what is the name of this city?
Me: Bourton-on-the-Water
Tourists: Sorry?
Me (pointing): Bourton-on-the-Water, like on that big sign over there
Tourist: Oh, thank you
Me: And it's a village not a city

We had ice creams with flakes before we came home, and mrsfb bought another book reading figurine. 

In other news I pressure washed the patio and paths this morning in the back garden. Quite pleased with my efforts, and the arbour cleaned up surprisingly well too.
