A Fine View

We joined our walking group today for a 6 miler over Latrigg to Threlkeld.......or at least that was the plan. After about 2 miles in the pain in my big toe increased ( I had surgery on it in Feb) so we made the decision not to continue but turn back. I struggled back down the hill and we paused in Fitz Park to eat lunch. The good thing is I now know my current limitations and my dreams of starting back running at the end of May will have to be put on hold.

Back home to Norfolk tomorrow where the temperatures are about 8 degrees cooler than Keswick.
