Over the water

Looking for a change of scene, J and I left sunny Glasgow behind for a more exotic destination over the water. The water was the River Forth the destination Aberdour, famous for its silver sands. A bit of a nostalgia trip, the silver sands were a favourite family summer Weekend trip when I was preteen. Hours playing in the water and sand then home via Kincardine or after 1964 the Forth Road bridge then fish and chips in Linlithgow before heading home to apply lashings of Calamine Lotion to very pink skin. Ah the simple pleasures.
