Castle

I fancied doing an aerial view of a Herefordshire Castle, and a search revealed Snodhill Castle (1050AD) near Dorstone, which is about thirty five minutes drive from home.

After a cooked breakfast and coffee in Ross on Wye, it was a pleasant drive to it, and on arrival I was surprised to see volunteers doing a talk on it with a group. I enjoyed exploring the ruins and it was nice to get a view of it in situ. About 2020, they discovered a chapel near the Bailey (tower) which you can see in the photo'.

After returning to Ross on Wye for a food shop, I was home early afternoon to enjoy the sunshine in my rear garden.
