...via Yummy Yorkshire for ice-cream, then it turned into a nature walk - lambs and calves galore, a hare, skylarks, and curlew for starters. 

Merlin also identified a reed bunting which we saw, and chiff chaffs, willow warblers, a noisy wren and a blackcap which we didn't.

No cows and about three cow-pats in one field we crossed - and I managed to find one to stand in...
