The Orchid and the Ant

This Orchid is with a group of plants that were suffering from sticky bugs. But thanks to the ants, who are eating the bugs and their sticky sap, the plants are doing much better so I don’t mind the ants coming in in this corner of the house.

A calmer day today, thank goodness. Keeping everything crossed for a smooth transition tomorrow. Should’ve joined a walking group this morning for a countryside ramble, and right now I should be in Bath enjoying the Party in the City, on the most beautiful evening. But I didn’t, and I’m not. Blue skies all day and 20 degrees, though I’ve felt cold all day, probably because I’m so tired...
