Or 'catty-face' as it is known in Orkney. photographed near Kirkwall. They breed here but many go 'flyabout' outside of the breeding season. One bird satellite-tagged elsewhere in Scotland was tracked wandering around Germany, Poland, Belarus etc before returning to Scotland.
