Prodding

I treated myself to a day out over the border - took the train to Carlisle :-)

There was an exhibition at Tullie House which I wanted to see - Cumbrian rag (proddy) rugs and pictures by Winifred Nicholson. The example I’ve blipped is by another artist, Lu Mason https://madebylumason.weebly.com/rag-rugs.html and was made in 2022.

I visited the cathedral, looked(unsuccessfully) for funeral clothes and had my eyebrows threaded. Then I walked back down to the station to meet Sarah (surprise!).

It is so lovely to have her home for the weekend. Merry was very pleased to see her, too (see extra)

We have had a Fire Friday and I’m now ready for bed.
