The chiropodist appointment was in the morning this time and so we had time to stroll up to Bruntsfield after and then be in time for our lunch at home.
The couple of thrift shops enroute meant that I ended dragging a bag of books along too and when Donald is just using a walking stick I hold him tightly under the arm so any tripping is prevented from full on fall. I was knackered by the time we got home.
Sitting side by side on the sofa Donald suddenly said, oh look, that leg is shorter than your other. Well never in my life, the whole 70 something years, I had never noticed this phenomenon before. From my hip to my knee the right is definitely lacking in lengthy comparison. We did laugh and I think this will be brought up now on many occasions.
