Decided to pot these Iris rather than plant out. - quite pleased already.
Still warm for here @ 20 deg. C with 15 hours of clear blue skies and sunshine which is just right working out in the garden shaded areas. Too warm in the full sunshine especially beside the south facing dyke and as still no sign of any rain so the garden is being watered. Pruned off the dead wood on the cornus contraversa and emptied and spread the bag of bark compost which has proved a successful exercise so decided to order another one.
Filling in the gaps around the nonagonal base shuttering to hopefully ensure the concrete will not escape when poured.
