Wish I was around

One of those days when it was just nice to be. 

Didn't take any photos, tried to ignore the Seagull Saga out the window. 

Every flipping day!

Tonight we were just about to go to bed (10pm) and we spotted a post to say that there was a fire on the golf course near us. 

What else can you do but chase the fire engine. 

Off we toddled.  Suffice to say I'm very impressed that the Fire Brigade sat their fire engine on the top of the railway flyover and ran down on foot to deal with gorse fire, yes in deedy on golf course, but quite close to the rail lines.  I'm wondering about the water.  did they just taken fire extinguishers down? 

We didn't stop - there was a crowd gathering and filming, so we headed over the hill and were met with this fabulous sunset.  Well to be honest, the sun had set about 40 minutes before but the sky was still ago. 

it's a gorgeous place to live.
