Carlisle

I'm sure I read in PaulaJ's journal that Carlisle were "renovating " the city centre. Well today I was in  Carlisle and discovered the upheaval for myself. I'm posting this so we can remember the mess. I wonder what the improvements will be?.Luckily there are lots of Blips available to be able to make a comparison in due course. 
In fact this one from 2021 shows the pedestrian  area in front of the Town Hall that is now road works
