End Of An Era.

Alexandra had a meeting with her boss at 11.30 a.m., by midday she'd been made redundant.

She'd been with the company 20 years, starting off as a Christmas casual and ending as a manager.

It's sad as she has always enjoyed her job and has learnt a lot of new skills with them, especially in the last few years, when the company went on-line.

Her manager did offer her a job in a retail store selling clothes, or he suggested she ring a company that they traded with as they might be looking for someone.

So, she came home gathered her thoughts, rang this company, and by 3pm she was off for an interview.

Now we play the waiting game to know whether she got the job or not.
