Watching the rain in West Virginia
Left Ohio at 10am with clear skies and warm temperatures. When I got into West Virginia the rain started, the temperature dropped and the rain stayed with me all the way to Virginia. Traffic was not bad and I decided to drive straight home instead of stopping for the night. Just into North Carolina, I filled up the car, ate a burger and got on the road. What should have been a 3 hour drive ended up being a little over 4 hours. I should have known I77 in North Carolina would have a driver who needs more driving lessons in how not to run off the road into the trees on a straight, dry road. And not even at Charlotte which is usually the place where wrecks happen.
It has been a long time since I drove a 12 hour day. Sally said let’s not do that again!
