Grabbed some shopping first thing then a bit of time on the computer trying to work out why its internet speed is slow compared with my phone in the same location, both using wifi.Still haven't got to the bottom of that!

It was too nice to be in the house so I spent the rest of the morning in the garden.

I had a screening appointment at the surgery at lunchtime. An ultrasound to check my aorta as it passes through my abdominal region for any sign of a potential aneurism. Apparently it is another of the screening programmes for us older gentlemen! A sure sign I'm getting older. Happily nothing to report and the lady doing the screening was happy to show me my scan and the aorta as it passes relatively straight down my body until it 'bifurcates' (her word) into the iliac arteries to go down my legs.
