Warbler

The sun came out again, as did this Willow Warbler at Moorside.

Later, my second gig of the week at the Live Room in Saltaire. Jocelyn Pettit and Ellen Gira are a Canadian/American traditional fiddle/cello duo, accompanied on the night by guitarist Miguel Girão (himself a recent finalist in the 2025 BBC Young Traditional Musician of the year.) They featured tunes and songs from their two albums, the first of which won the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Traditional Music Album of the Year award and the second is a new release. A great evening.
