Hawthorn Season

S had an appointment at the physio this morning about his hip. As he is doing his exercises religiously it has greatly improved.

We had a walk before it got too hot and then lunch sitting in the garden. Went to Jamesfield for some bedding plants.

It’s a year since we got Lucca . She a lovely wee dog but I will be honest and say I struggle with how lazy and inactive she is. She’s only 5 and she doesn’t hardly ever run, the quickest is a fast trot . She is so lazy and at night she doesn’t even want to go out a walk. It’s so different from my other cockers and actually any other cocker I know. We are active walkers and think she would suit an elderly person and sit on their lap. Breagha was so much fun with her joy of life .

I know she mostly sat in a kennel for many years but I thought she would come out a bit of her lack of energy but she hasn’t. Doesn’t play with toys or a ball, only time animated is when it’s food time. I do feel sorry for her but I miss an active dog.

I meant to add having said this she is a very loving and gentle dog.
