Cross Bay Walks
Tomorrow is one of this year’s guided walks across the sands of Morecambe Bay.  Hundreds of people are guided over the estuary from Arnsude to Grange over Sands  Walk is about 7 miles. They are led by the King’s Guide to the sands, an office whch has existed for almost 500 years. They have to wade through the River Kent and avoid the quicksands.
The walks raise  money for charities and are very popular.
