V&A Dundee. Garden Futures.
We live in an area of ‘Outstanding Landscape Value’.
Today we took the ‘99 Bus Service’ from our bus stop and then travelled to the next bus stop which is Dundee Railway Station is very handy for the V&A Dundee.
Total journey time is 11 minutes, which includes crossing the Tay Road Bridge.
Quite a change from countryside to city.
The V&A have just opened there exhibition called ‘Garden Futures’. Of course there are many futures spread over many centuries and countries.
Today’s entry is a rather ‘cheeky’ shot taken through a series of openings linking various ‘rooms’. The extra shows a rather fine ‘garden’ chair and its shadow’.
As is usual with a V&A exhibition there is much to see and absorb.
Pat and I are members and will probably visit several times over the next few months.
We are enjoying very sunny weather just now. When we left we took the bus back home. The service is superb with buses every 10 to 15 minutes or so.
People of our advancing years travel for free provided we have the relevant ‘plastic’,pass. Very welcome.
