Inver red boat

I chose this shot for my blip, because it reminded me of the various shots of the red boat (Tama On Vene - literally "this is a boat") I have taken on our many trips to Cafe Regatta in Helsinki. Shame there isn't a cafe in Inver.

I joined a swim in Inver this afternoon. We walked round to the ramp and swam back. The others swam further than me, heading on into the bay. I did just over 20 minutes in a beautiful cool sea under blue skies and strong sun. And made it back to Tain for a Teams meeting at 4pm.

We spent the evening sitting out again, including eating our evening meal at the picnic table. Tonight it was proper warm, right up until 9pm, when we retired inside. Our back garden is a great place for sitting, and just being in the moment. I must admit I then retired straight to bed, exhausted by the last few days.
