Brassed Off? Never.

It is 125 years since Bands in the Park began in Northampton's Abington Park. Today is a celebration with many bands, stalls and games for all the family.

The beautiful warm Spring weather that has lasted weeks decided, right on cue, to disappear to be replaced with grey skies and a brisk, chilly northern wind.

But in true Brit style, undaunted, the audience simply wore their bedding, kept cool and carried on.
