Early morning sun
No idea what these flowers are, but they look lovely in the early morning sun. I 'rescued' the plants from the area that MrM dug out in preparation for building the garden room, and they seem very happy in their new position.
A full day in a good way. Drumming this morning, and our second 'parade practice' before we do it for real. More difficult than it looks to walk and drum (and smile!) at the same time! A quick coffee afterwards with some of the drummers, and a lift most of the way home for which I was grateful.
Time for a couple of chores before MrM and I went for a late lunch with friends J and M, whom we haven't seen for at least 5 years, when they called in on us in Northumberland. They were co-workers at the Camphill college in Wakefield where I used to work. Unsurprisingly we've all aged somewhat, except for M who looks exactly the same as always! Lots of catching up...
Another evening of excellent jazz in Huddersfield, after we'd claimed our pies, peas, and a pint which we won in the jazz club raffle last week.
