West Dean Gardens

Yesterday we forgot to go to The Bishops Palace Gardens, but today here we are at West Dean Gardens; another place I wanted to visit after seeing it on Gardeners World.
We paid £13.50 each to go in & then discovered Anne could have used her card where you pay for one & the other goes free; she was so cross when she checked back at the Caravan. Never mind we had a lovely time looking round at all the plants etc.
We saw these 2 gorgeous dogs going into the river for a paddle; I would've joined them, it was so hot.
St. Andrews Church is in the grounds, so we visited there & I had my photo taken next to the Organ pipes up on the balcony.
We had lunch in the Cafe there & I drank 2 pints of water while we were there & stopped by later to have some more.
On our way back to the Caravan, we stopped off at Boxgrove Priory; a lovely ruin adjoining a Church with a Labyrinth on the floor; then we stopped off at St. Giles Church......... see what I mean about a Pub Crawl for Churches. LOL!
That's the last time I laughed that day, because my daughter phoned me to say that she got home to find Stanley (my cat) had died suddenly.
I kept calm, but Anne knew I needed to go home; so we packed as quick as we could & came home.
My beautiful Stanley, he looked perfect. 
Over the Rainbow Bridge to be with his Brother Thunder & Sister Smoochi. Bless them all. Loved so much it hurts.
