First river swim 2025

For half the year (the colder half) my relationship with the river is that of an acquaintance.  I walk it's banks and watch it roil under heavy rain fall, but we remain detached.  

While the rest of France and Northern Europe have enjoyed mind boggling temperatures, here, in Occitanie, it's been rather mediocre until today.   The temperature rose to something approaching summer and I made close friends with the river again.
