Chippenham.

I went to a talk in Chippenham today about the artist Stephen Russ. He was a book cover illustrator and taught at the Bath School of Art in Corsham. A contemporary of Bawden and Ravillious, he designed the dust jackets for notable books such as Lady Chatterley’s Lover and some of the John Buchan books.
