A successful wait…

The booking for the 2025 BBC Proms opened today at 9.00am. We have never been and earlier this year we decided to give our friend Susan Stewart a 60th birthday present of tickets for the Prom of her choice , and then Cathleen and I would make a wee trip to London together with her and Jeane.

I logged on to the Royal Albert Hall website around 8.40 and at 9.00 was told that I had been “randomly allocated “ place 14,525 in the queue!

It moved speedily though and at 10.40 I was admitted to the site and activated my “Proms Plan” ( set up beforehand) which resulted in me getting Susan’s first choice , thus establishing the foundation for that London journey in August.
