Fully in the moment
One of the traits of my bouncy brain is I'm not good without a deadline or focus.... But this morning I rose early, settled into the hut and got a couple of weeks worth of avoided but necessary little tasks done.
My mojo for bid writing, the near constant rejection (we're currently winning about 5%, which apparently is better than most charities) has been very low, but three done today.
Then a few hours in the green gym listening to political podcasts. I voted Labour, I'm proud we ousted the despicable vermin we had before.... But this isn't a Labour Party I recognise. I was sickened by Starmer's language this week, but Michael Rosens reply said it much better than I can. But a little light...some Labour MPs do still know what's right, I urge UK readers to sign this petition for a Wealth Tax not benefit cuts.
Finally when it got too warm I took Missy for a swim. A happy dog puts a lot of things in perspective.
