Another Late Night

Circus Lane, just before midnight and happily devoid of any Instagram inspired tourists, lots of whom were milling about looking for the perfect selfie as I headed to the pub earlier. The pub in question was The Cumberland but they’d sold out of cask beer, presumably being ignorant of the current drouth inducing weather! I settled for Leith Juice, a thirst quencher.
The morning had been spent at the Eye Pavilion where I was told that my eye pressure was up, just on the edge of OK, (though I’m not sure why as my eye doctor was off sick) and then at the Chinese Visa office where I collected my passport with said visa. Glad that’s done and dusted. A travel insurance deal was found as well, so something else off the to-do list. The trip’s getting closer!
