Down and Nearly gone

Well this weekend the old bridge has been demolished. They shut the road off  to do it safely and by this morning all that was left was a small ramp and piles of rubble see extras. I'm not sure what time the main span of the bridge came down but these shots show the scene at around 8.45 this morning. Someone on FB said it was still standing at 11.00 last night but due to there only been 2 supports either side of the road it would soon come down. A few more shots can be seen on Flickr.
Back home 2 loads of washing done and dried outside once the sun finally came out. 
Some Rugby league this afternoon has been enjoyed . we didn't watch it but kept an eye on the FA Cup final well done to Crystal Palace on beating Man City 1-0 .
Will soon settle down and probably watch a film and enjoy some beers
