Bumblesnaps

Update

Some months ago I wrote a verse about the winter days
How cold and dark and short they were, bad in so many ways.
The songs of robins were a joy, a hint of happy time
When sunny days would come again, needing a different rhyme.
Now here it is and so is he, high in a branch above
His lovely song a joyful sound, part of a time I love.
Although the bluebells may be gone, and bumblebees are few,
Some other flowers are around, and I’ve combined the two.
In the extra you can see a flower and a bee,
Two favourite things I saw today, so I say - lucky me !

An update from my entry on November 21st last year.
