Phoenix day

We were awake early and up ready to go and collect our car. We then headed off to the Desert Botanical Garden. They had a butterfly enclosure,  we were told not to touch but one took a liking to Rich.

It was very warm and sunny so we took a break and went back to the car rental.

We had an SUV and found it had no parcel shelf.  We will at times be leaving our luggage in the car so didn't want our bags on show. We went back to ask for a shelf and were told they do not have them in SUVs, only option was either getting something to cover the bags or swapping to a car with a boot, so we swapped.

In the early evening we headed back to the Botanical Garden,  it was much less busy and we had a wander around and got to see a few birds.
