Exultation of larks
Shame I can't blip the soundtrack to my morning run.
A run at Tentsmuir was much tougher than the distance and elevation profile would suggest as the first third was mainly on soft sand which is very tiring. It was also in the sun, hot and any breeze behind me.
The return was easier, the breeze had got up a bit, the trails were firmer and it was mainly in the woods.
The extra is a collage of bits of interest: lagoons turning into woods, shells and "art", an orchid and a bizarre fence. It was bizarre because the track was accessed by a new gate but the other end was blocked (I clambered thorugh the wire and carried on to the next, old, gate which has always had to be climbed).
We partook of crepes and tea from the van at the carpark before returning home.
The first half of the afternoon was spent lazing in the garden but I then got some more gardening done and now most things that need to be planted/sown are.
I finally got the ironing done but haven't put the dining room curtains back yet.
