Name Drop

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

The Prince and I went out with Ziggy’s owners, Marie and Sean tonight to our local pub for a bite to eat.

Coincidentally Kitty Cat and Marsh were sitting at the bar when we arrived. We asked if they like to join us but they declined saying they were only having one before going home for dinner.

Fast forward a couple of hours. As KC and Marsh were finishing their beers, other friends had popped in and as can happen, they ended up staying and then joining us after all!

A Dire Straits song happened to be playing and Sean mentioned he was a huge fan before a (very squiffy) Marsh revealed that The Knopflers were his neighbours when he was growing up and Mark Knopfler used to be his babysitter!!

The last time Marsh saw his old babysitter was years later after a Newcastle game in a tiny (and empty) pub. He ended up hanging out with MK and his friend for a few pints.
