with my 2 youngest granddaughters
My son Mark and the girls, Autumn and Grace, came today, it was lovely to see them and have a good chat about their recent holiday in America (grandma and great grandma live in North Carolina). they went with their mum and her new husband.
Mark is going to the Philippines later this year, somewhere north of Manila, he has a pen friend and is going to meet her and her family for the first time, Nothing romantic, just friends and like he said he fancied a holiday somewhere he had never been before. I look forward to lots of photo's from him.
So apart from having a dog walk and a vacuum round early on nothing has been done today, apart from a lot of natter.
Its been a nice day not cold at all although breezy. We watched a film tonight, just couldn't watch the Eurovision contest too many flashing lights and terrible singing. Every year I say I won't watch it ever again, and I do, so this year we recorded a film and watched that instead, then an old Blue Bloods from series 2 which we hadn't seen. I think we started watching Blue Bloods around series 5.
I bought some straw from the farm shop for my manger trough under the front window because it has mostly gone and needs replacing.
Well lets hope I get a bit more gardening done tomorrow
Happy Sunday
