Let The Rain Roll In . . . Eilen Jewell
This morning the forester left the motel early and lined up for the ferry. He reported it was raining and the wind was rocking the car. Mmmm. I was flying home and got a message saying my flight could be potentially delayed. Interesting wording I thought. My nurse said she lives by the airport and planes were flying. Ah that's a good sign. I was collected from the hospital by a friendly Sikh taxi driver. He gave me his card in case the plane didn't go and I needed to get to my son's house. He would give me a discount. I rang the forester and he had set sail and was out in the strait and felt it wasn't much rougher than a normal crossing. My plane did go on time and the take off wasn't too bumpy. It is only a 35 minute flight. Pete was there to collect me and deliver me home. Then it was time for a lie down. Two hours later I awoke to the forester coming in the house.
I am pleased to be home and in my own bed where no one can wake me twice in the night to take my blood pressure and temperature. Now to follow the recovery procedures and not be over confident and undo all the good work of the medical team.
P.S that yellow line is a reflection from inside the terminal and looks like a light Sabre to me. Well the force has been with me this week.
