Poppies

Another lovely day. I went out for a short warmup walk, then headed out for a run. It was hard, as it was too hot. I struggled, and had a couple of stops in the shade to cool down a bit. Once I was home, it took me ages to cool down.

After lunch TT and I headed out to a local garden centre for a couple of things, then continued our journey to North Berwick, where he wanted to go to the hardware shop, which is open on a Sunday. Purchases made, we went for a beach walk. It was chilly and bracing! We were both glad we had brought jumpers. There was a bit of haar out in the Firth of Firth.

We came home via the supermarket. TT cooked, and I pottered, enjoying a glass of fizz. Later we FaceTimed TT’s mum, and I read my book.

We spotted these poppies in North Berwick, presumably for VE Day.
