Still crazy after all these years...

A few days ago I blipped about my 1988 bought inflatable boat. Having had it repaired, I've been waiting for paint, spray gun and sandpaper to give it a new lease od life.

There are two bits I need - one an oar I lost while speeding over waves in the Aegean Sea and the other an original manufacturers plastic seat box to store bits and pieces. Two days ago I saw a classified ad for a similar boat from the same manufacturer for €80, 140km away to the southeast of Munich. Yesterday evening I collected it.

Not only did the €80 include the oar and box, but also a functioning electric outboard, a boats slip trailer, a canopy, three more oars, a spray cover, two good life jackets, a good anchor, an inflatable manufacturers seat AND the boat itself.

The two tubes are in excellent condition and do not leak, sadly the inflatable floor has a structural problem even though it's probably not got a leak. I didn't want them boat, but now I'll take it to a repair place and see if there's anything to be done. Sadly I fear not.
