The President

This morning I visited my Mum. She was a bit restless at first. However, she started reciting a couple of poems including J Masefield's " Sea Fever", which I found in her poetry book and was able to read to her. 
I helped her have a little bit of soup and cup of tea for lunch, by when she was quite tired.
This afternoon, I spent a few hours in the garden,weeding, ( mostly wild Geum) accompanied by Stormin Norman who helped himself to wild strawberries and dandelion leaves.Meanwhile, our Clematis" The President " is flowering better than it has ever done before.
