VINTAGE MORECAMBE

Went over to visit Mum today. We decided to go via the A6 due to congestion on the M6 near Carnforth, road works and a lane closure.  That may have been a mistake, it took ages, heavy traffic and quite a few buses!!!  Still we got there OK just took a bit longer than usual that's all.

Had a good catch up, did some chores and had some lunch before coming back home.  My sister's boyfriend popped in to see us which was lovely

We discovered that Morecambe has it's annual Vintage Fayre this weekend which includes several vintage buses take people to Heysham, Morecambe and Carnforth for free.

On the way home I saw these two vinages buses and then saw a moder day bus so I thought it woud make a good triptych.

Journey home was better, still quite a bit of traffic but not as much as going.
