That put paid to that idea

If I've only got a few items to get or I'm not in the mood to tackle the supermarket on the way home, I'll go to the local small shop. I do want local small shops to survive... but they are not making it easy. 

I'm noticing a tendency in my local one to prioritise the delivery side of their business and close the doors at this kind of time to customers who want to shop in person. This is not the first time this sign or a similar one has gone up at going home from work time.

I was also in a bit of a big grump as I'd left work after being accusing of not telling the truth (me and three others who had also seen what happened) about how the umbrellas on the four picnic tables in the main courtyard had ended up in a broken mess well away from the tables and in the case of two of them, onto the sports field. 

I'll tell you how once the CCTV footage has been reviewed.
